Landry Vineyards makes over 10 varieties of wines. Our southern culture deeply influences what types of wines we make. Southerners love sweet drinks and it is no surprise that our local customers enjoy our variety of semi-sweet wines.
We grow Blanc du Bois, Norton, and Le Noir grapes on our 10 acres. These three are our grape varieties. From these grapes, we make the Blanc du Bois Dry and Semi-Sweet and the LaScato Frizzante.
Along with our grape wines, we also grow muscadines. Muscadines are a southern staple. They are a cousin to the grape. Muscadines are a “wild grape”. They are well adapted to our hot summer days, cool winters, and our year round humidity. Our muscadine wines are Peach Muscadine, Country Muscadine, and Redneck Red.
We also have the privilege of bringing in grapes from the U.S. West Coast. Our Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec in our Bayoutage Red Blend, and Chardonnay all come from hand selected vineyards from the West Coast.
Enjoy reading about each one of our wine! Cheers!
